Former British soldier Shaun Pinner had already settled in Ukraine four years before Russia's large-scale invasion: he was serving in the Ukrainian army, met his wife, with whom he dreamed of renovating the kitchen in January 2022. There is nothing left to renovate - their house in Mariupol is destroyed, like the whole city. Shaun saw the tragic sight of Mariupol while he was being taken to one of several Russian prisons where he was held captured. In total, he spent half of a year in captivity. In the show, the soldier tells how the war in Ukraine is different from the ones he has seen so far, how he got captured, how he felt when he heard that he is sentenced to death and how he managed to endure the torture and escape from it - the oligarch Roman Abramovich also contributed to this. How?
